Play Therapy:

Relying on the inherent therapeutic powers of play, I can work with your child in the most developmentally appropriate way.

Play therapy sessions are primarily conducted with only the child in the room but there are circumstances where observation sessions and filial sessions occur at my discretion.

Caregivers are encouraged to schedule parent check-ins for therapeutic overviews and their “counseling homework.”

Psychotherapy:

For older children and teens where play feels either too vulnerable or no longer developmentally appropriate, more traditional therapy is available. Pulling from the theoretical orientations of Client Centered and Social Analytic, I will join your child where they are to allow them to move toward their treatment goals. Though I do have a personal preference for in-person therapy, this can be offered using telehealth.
